Three one-hour sittings

Yum cha runs in fixed hour-long seatings, so the table is yours for the hour and the kitchen keeps the steamers moving.

Our story

The newest room from 翡翠小廚

Crystal J opened on Lonsdale Street in May 2026 — the third venue from the team behind Crystal Jade (翡翠小廚) in Chinatown and Food Factory (食街工坊).

The room carries the group's cooking into a quieter register: jade fluted walls, brass ceiling ovals, teal leather chairs and a bar of Penfolds and Japanese whisky. The kitchen still leans on what made the original famous — the snow crab in French foie gras pâté it has been cooking since 1999.

By day the steamers run for yum cha. By night it is live seafood from the tank, Blackmore and A5 wagyu, abalone and fish maw claypots, and private rooms for the whole family.
